The Kingdom of Cambodia is a country in Southeast Asia that has an area of 181,040km² and a population of over 13 million people. The country is bordered by Thailand in the west, Laos to the north, Vietnam to the east and opens into the Gulf of Thailand in the south. There are many ancient temples in the area of Angkor, the most notable being the Angkor Wat, described as being the largest religious structure in the world and is still of great religious consequence to the many pilgrims that flock there regularly.
